As a bonus, L-Theanine also helps creates a sense of calmness while not affecting one’s energy levels, so you get the best of both worlds.

Matcha powder has a high concentration of antioxidants, which help to protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. In fact, matcha has 137 times more polyphenols (a type of antioxidant) than green tea and 60 times more antioxidants than spinach.

Matcha Face Mask Recipe



  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 tbsp high-quality honey
  • 2 tbsp 2% Greek yogurt


Put all ingredients in a small bowl and mix to combine. Use your fingers or a small brush to smear mask over your face avoiding eye and lip area. Leave on face for 15-20 minutes. Rinse face with lukewarm water until clean. Enjoy!
