Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple Cider Vinegar provides an array of health benefits when used properly and one of those benefits is warding off infection and reducing one’s body temperature. The acid within it helps to draw heat from the skin while the minerals within in it, replenish those lost when sweating during a fever. Mix one part ACV with two parts warm water in a bowl. Soak a washcloth in the mixture and then wrap it around your feet. Sit for 10-15 minutes and repeat if necessary. You can also mix 2 teaspoons of ACV with one tablespoon of honey in a glass of warm water. Drink up to three times a day until the fever improves.
Raisins & Lime Juice
Raisins have antioxidant and antibacterial properties, which aid the body in the fight against infection. Lime juice is full of Vitamins and works with the raisins to create an effective fever fighting tonic. Soak 30 raisins in a cup and a half of water until the raisins are soft to touch (generally one hour). Use the back of a spoon to crush the raisins in the water then pour the liquid from the raisins into a mug. Add the juice of half a lime. Steep this concoction for ten minutes and then sip it very slowly for fever fighting effects. Drink this garlic tea 1-2 times a day.
